Beltrami County Passes Property Tax Abatement for Small Business

Beltrami county commissioners recently passed board resolution #20-05-14 to provide small businesses and self-employed individuals with a property tax liability of $200,000 or less the opportunity to apply for the abatement of the first half of 2020 property tax penalty. Small businesses suffering because of the COVID-19 Emergency are eligible for an abatement of penalty if property taxes are paid by July 15, 2020.

Businesses who are able, are encouraged to still pay by the May 15, 2020, due date.
