When filling out the application, refer to the Membership Dues Investment Schedule on this page or click here to download a printable copy. After the application has been completed, mail it to the address on the bottom of the application.

Membership Dues Investment Schedule
Effective January 1, 2008

General Membership Classification: 

Lodging Classification:
· Motel/Hotel: $10 per bedroom up to 40 bedrooms, $8 per bedroom 41 bedrooms and over, plus $70 for restaurant, $70 for bar open to the public and $70 for health club ($240 minimum).
· Resort: $10 per bedroom up to 40 bedrooms, $8 per bedroom 41 bedrooms and over, plus $70 for restaurant, $70 for bar open to the public, $70 for health club and $2 per campsite ($240 minimum).
· Campground: $230 for first 50 sites, then $2 for each additional site ($240 minimum).

Financial Depository:
$15 per million with up to $50 million in deposits.
$12 per million with between $51-99 million in deposits.
$8 per million with over $100 million in deposits.

Second Business Membership/Same Owner: $130 per year. (Excluding lodging)

Associate Membership: Available only to salespeople or representatives with firms not located in the Bemidji area or businesses located 40 miles or more from Bemidji ($240 minimum).

Non-Profit Organizations: 30 percent discount on membership calculated on total full time equivalent employees.

Individual Supporting Members: Available to teachers, clergy, government employees, retired individuals, and other community members not otherwise engaged in business or professional ventures ($55 each).

Membership investment in the Bemidji Area Chamber of Commerce may be tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense, but not as a charitable tax deduction for federal income tax purposes.

Any amount less than the assessment will be
considered a donation not a membership.
